Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth Stumble in Hilarious Super Bowl Ad! Discover Their Epic Art Heist Fiasco!

How many Chrises does it take to pull off an accidental art heist? Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth teamed up with Kris Jenner for Meta’s Super Bowl ad, promoting the Ray-Ban Meta glasses in a series of 30-second spots. The ads humorously depict these two Avengers learning about art, accidentally destroying it, and then attempting to cover up the evidence captured on their smart eyewear. The first spot, featuring Pratt and Hemsworth mistakenly eating a $6 million banana owned by Jenner, was released on Monday; PEOPLE got an exclusive look at the second spot, where the duo unintentionally destroys a sculpture while trying to use their glasses to take photos.

In an exclusive email interview with PEOPLE, Hemsworth discussed the comedic project and shared some behind-the-scenes antics. He revealed which of his three kids with wife Elsa Pataky has “borrowed” the glasses for creative purposes. Hemsworth, well accustomed to acting in major productions thanks to his Marvel background, admitted that filming a Super Bowl ad still felt nerve-wracking. He stated, “Knowing such a large audience will be watching is certainly added pressure, but also a great motivator to produce something entertaining and memorable.”

Hemsworth expressed his excitement about the chance to be part of Meta’s Super Bowl ad, particularly highlighting the glasses’ sleek design and impressive AI capabilities. “Other versions of this tech feel super clumsy to me, but these look and feel great and have the added bonus of being able to record video, play music, tell you what you’re looking at, translate language, and much more,” he shared. He also enjoyed the freedom to ad-lib self-deprecating banter alongside Pratt and Jenner. “We had a great time and enjoyed poking fun at ourselves,” Hemsworth continued. “Watching Pratt and me stumble our way through an art gallery trying our best to look sophisticated and failing miserably should be a lot of fun!”

Hemsworth further elaborated that the improvisational aspect of the ad reminded him of the first time he worked with Pratt on an Avengers set. “He’s got such incredible wit and sense of humor; it made for another hilarious day,” he noted.

Once the filming concluded, Hemsworth took the glasses home and said he and his kids have enjoyed exploring their capabilities. “We love using the voice commands… just saying ‘Hey Meta, call Grandma,'” he remarked. He also mentioned how his daughter had been using the glasses to film first-person videos while riding her horse, capturing some great footage galloping along the beach or through the forest.

As for the Super Bowl itself, Hemsworth is ready to enjoy the game regardless of the outcome, stating that any result is fine as long as he has a “fully stacked burger” to snack on while watching the Philadelphia Eagles face off against the Kansas City Chiefs. “Being from Australia, I have the luxury of rooting for both teams and winning either way!” he concluded.
