The Emmy-nominated actor first portrayed Poe in Star Wars: Episode 7 – The Force Awakens, alongside Daisy Ridley‘s Rey and John Boyega‘s Finn. Poe quickly became one of the Rebellion’s most trusted allies in their mission to defeat the First Order, making his character a fan favorite.
Many fans assumed that Poe’s time in the Star Wars universe came to an end after the incredibly divisive Episode 9 – The Rise of Skywalker, which closed the sequel trilogy.
