Burberry has revealed the latest London forecast: “Sunny spells with some showers expected.” When you add movie stars and models in classic Burberry trench coats, you paint a vivid picture of the house’s new summer 2025 campaign, which dropped on Wednesday. This launch delivers seven short films inspired by beloved British romantic comedies from the late 1990s to early 2000s, featuring Kate Winslet, Nicholas Hoult, Jodie Turner-Smith, Richard E. Grant, Aimee Lou Wood, Chen Kun, Micheal Ward, Son Sukku, along with models Naomi Campbell, David Gandy, and Liu Wen. A Burberry knight in shining armor even makes a cameo appearance.
“A Burberry love story comes to life through the cinematic lens of this campaign. It’s about humor, optimism, and, of course, the unpredictability of our great British weather,” stated Burberry chief creative officer Daniel Lee. Burberry chief executive officer Josh Schulman elaborated, “Our summer 2025 campaign is a joyous celebration of our original purpose — to create clothing that protects people from the weather. It showcases the innovation and craftsmanship that defines Burberry as the ultimate trench and rainwear destination.”
The creative vision behind the campaign saw teamwork from various talented individuals, including creative direction by Lee and artistic direction from Lane & Associates. David Lane took on the role of director, Benoit Delhomme served as director of photography, photography was done by Drew Vickers, and music was provided by Prefab Sprout. The campaign will also feature window displays and in-store activations at Burberry locations worldwide.
