Burberry has unveiled its latest summer 2025 campaign featuring Nicholas Hoult alongside stars like Kate Winslet and Jodie Turner-Smith. This charming campaign, launched Wednesday, embraces the unpredictability of British weather while celebrating a nostalgic nod to romantic comedies from the late 1990s to early 2000s. The collection comprises seven short films that bring to life the unique blend of humor and optimism distinctive to British culture.
The campaign showcases a stellar cast, which includes Richard E. Grant, Aimee Lou Wood, Chen Kun, Micheal Ward, and Son Sukku, alongside famous models Naomi Campbell, David Gandy, and Liu Wen. Speaking on the project, Burberry’s chief creative officer Daniel Lee emphasized, “A Burberry love story comes to life through the cinematic lens of this campaign. It’s about humor, optimism and, of course, the unpredictability of our great British weather.”
With roots in its original purpose of creating clothing that shields people from the elements, Burberry’s chief executive officer, Josh Schulman, noted, “Our summer 2025 campaign is a joyous celebration… It showcases the innovation and craftsmanship that defines Burberry as the ultimate trench and rainwear destination.” The initiative features creative direction by Lee and artistic direction from Lane & Associates, along with cinematic contributions from director David Lane and photographer Benoit Delhomme.
As part of the rollout, Burberry plans to enhance the campaign with captivating window displays and engaging in-store activations at locations worldwide, making it an exciting prospect for fans and fashion enthusiasts alike. The combination of big stars like Nicholas Hoult and immersive campaigns promises to create lasting impressions, blending style with storytelling in a memorable fashion experience.
