His wife, Mridula Tripathi, shared a collection of pictures online that provided a glimpse into their enchanting time in Prayagraj, showcasing the family enjoying a boat ride and posing joyfully against the backdrop of the temple.
The first photo features Mridula Tripathi praying while taking a holy dip in the sacred waters. The sequence continues with her and her husband, Pankaj Tripathi, smiling together in the water. While exploring Prayagraj, Pankaj Tripathi shared his thoughts with news agency ANI, stating, “The vibes here are very spiritual. I am feeling very happy as I got the opportunity to take a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam.” His wife echoed his sentiments during a short chat, expressing, “I have been wanting to come here for years… It was a unique experience… Finally, I took a dip today.” She further remarked, “The atmosphere here is crazy. I have never seen a bigger gathering in my life… I am impressed by the government for organizing such a huge event.”
Pankaj Tripathi was not the only star present at this momentous event. Other notable celebrities, including Hema Malini, Anupam Kher, Bhagyashree, and Milind Soman, also attended the grand Maha Kumbh Mela. Rajkummar Rao and his wife, Patralekhaa, participated in the sacred rituals at the Triveni Sangam and stayed at the Parmarth Niketan Maha Kumbh campsite. Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati shared photos of the celebrities on Instagram and wrote, “Such a joy to take a sacred bath today in the Sangam with beloved Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa, and Ira Trivedi. One of my favorite things about the Maha Kumbh is taking nearly daily sacred baths, dropping deeper and deeper into the very truth of our Selves. Today was so special to pray, chant, do sacred puja and bathe together with these beautiful beings.”
