This film represents a reunion for Shetty with both Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, who previously collaborated with him in the hit film Simmba in 2018. During a previous appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, Shetty shared a touching memory about Sara Ali Khan. He recounted how he felt emotional watching her, the daughter of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan, approach him for acting opportunities earlier in her career. “Now that she’s become a star, I can say this. ‘Sir please give me work’, she literally did that,” he recounted, revealing the depths of their connection and the progress she’s made since then.
