Katrina Kaif reveals breakup with Ranbir Kapoor was a blessing, opens up about self-discovery in bold Vogue interview!

Katrina Kaif recently made headlines during her appearance at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding reception in Mumbai. Dressed in an elegant ivory saree, the actress turned heads, capturing the attention of guests and photographers alike. Following the event, she graced the cover of Vogue magazine, showcasing a bold and stunning look that left fans in awe.

In her Vogue feature, Katrina opened up about her personal life, which she described as “non-existent,” revealing how her breakup with Ranbir Kapoor profoundly shaped her self-discovery journey. She shared, “It’s probably one of the first times in my life where I really had only myself to focus on. And when you focus on yourself, often, the first thing you realise is that you don’t really know yourself.” Through this candid reflection, she illustrated the discomfort that can accompany self-exploration, stating, “It’s like a period of not knowing, a period of being uncomfortable because you’re seeing yourself in your raw form without embellishments.”

Katrina noted that this intense period of self-focus ultimately became a blessing. She embraced the challenges and insights that arose, explaining, “I now see it as a blessing because I was able to recognise my patterns, thought processes, and things that I had been so sure of my whole life.” This perspective allowed her to view her experiences from a fresh angle, enhancing her growth.

Moreover, the actress dismissed regrets, calling them “the single-most useless emotion on the planet.” She conveyed, “Whatever decision you make at that time in your life, it’s the best decision you could have made at that moment. That’s why you made it! Now, it’s hindsight. Of what use is hindsight?” This remarkable attitude towards her past decisions underscores her commitment to living in the present and embracing the lessons learned.

On the professional front, Katrina Kaif is currently filming for her upcoming movie with Salman Khan, titled Bharat. Her previous project, Thugs of Hindostan, did not garner much critical acclaim, though her impressive dancing left a lasting impression on her fans. Looking ahead, she is also excited about the release of Zero, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, set to hit theatres on December 21, and Bharat is scheduled for an Eid release in 2019. Katrina’s journey of self-discovery and her transformed outlook will surely resonate with her audience, inspiring many to embrace their personal growth stories.
