Shout! Studios has acquired the North American and Latin American rights for Ned Crowley’s new Western, Killing Faith, featuring the talented Guy Pearce alongside DeWanda Wise. This exciting announcement comes as the film wraps shooting in New Mexico, with first images now released. The cast, which boasts significant talent, also includes Bill Pullman, who plays a key role, as well as Raoul Trujillo, Jaime Neumann, Jack Alcott, Joanna Cassidy, and Emily Ford.
In a statement, Shout! Studios, in collaboration with producers Film Bridge International, Choice Films, and Triple Seven Pictures, revealed their plans for a strategic launch of Killing Faith, aimed at major film festivals this year. Crowley, known for his work on Middle Man, serves as the writer and director of this genre-bending Western, which skillfully blends action and suspense against a plague-ridden backdrop.
Guy Pearce takes on the role of Dr. Bender, a disillusioned physician who reluctantly agrees to escort Wise’s character, an anguished mother, and her ailing daughter across a perilous desert. The mother is desperately seeking treatment from a remote preacher-physician, played by Pullman, hoping to cure her daughter’s mysterious illness.
