During her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on February 11, she recounted how Williams left her house after discovering her empty refrigerator. “He opened up my refrigerator and he’s like, ‘I gotta go,’” Selma recalled.
The actress learned that Williams’ decision stemmed from his friend informing him about the situation. “I heard from [our] friend. I’m like, ‘Why did he leave so abruptly?’ He was like, ‘Oh, your kitchen was empty and he knew you don’t cook, so that wasn’t gonna work for him.’” Despite the somewhat disappointing ending to their date, Selma took it in good humor.
