Lily Allen Reveals Emotional Healing Journey After David Harbour Split: Her Time in Treatment and New Meditation Practice

Lily Allen is taking care of herself following the recent news of her separation from husband David Harbour, after four years of marriage. In a heartfelt discussion on the February 13 episode of her podcast, “Miss Me?” with co-host Miquita Oliver, she shared insights into her time spent at a mental health facility seeking treatment. “I went into a treatment center for a few weeks, which was great,” Lily explained.

During her stay, she engaged in various therapeutic options including group and individual therapy sessions. “I needed some time and space away from everything. I did a lot of shadow work, lots of work about my inner child stuff,” she continued, emphasizing the challenges of her journey. She acknowledged that healing is a lifelong process, stating, “It wasn’t easy by any stretch.”

Along with therapy, Lily has started incorporating meditation into her daily life, practicing it two to three times a day. “It’s really helping me,” she said, adding that despite not being a “particularly spiritual person,” meditation has become an incredible tool for her personal growth. It helps her focus on the present, reducing worries about the past and future, which is essential for her healing process.
