Brazil ViruLOKO Shines Bright in $100K Mystery Bounty Final

Brazil ViruLOKO: The much-anticipated $2 million guaranteed XL Autumn Series starts on September 17 at 888poker, and the excitement is already building. Brazilian player VirtuLOKO won the $100,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty Main Event and received an excellent $9,723.

With a buy-in of $109, this exciting tournament attracted a strong group of 763 new players and 178 re-entries, for a total of 941 people. VirtuLOKO’s path to victory took work. They used the re-entry choice, which meant they needed three bullets to win an impressive game.

Day 1 started on September 10, and by the end of the day, only nine people were left at the table. The mystery rewards, added after the 18th level and made this event even more exciting, made it stand out. Notable tips included $3,000 each for rodtrader and jonttis07, but the biggest prize went to Germany’s Elephant106, who won an incredible $10,000. Even though they came in 24th, they were the most significant event winner.

At the final table, players had a lot of chips. Bouillon from Malta had the most with 2,952,061 chips, and VirtuLOKO from Brazil was close behind with 2,857,672 chips. Raw_dawg, trainer, BuddyLuv, Gulmamedov, Tony996, Kuzyaev14, and figalex25 made up the rest of the table. The battle was brutal.

Even though there were no very short-stacked players at the final table, the winner was quickly crowned. Figalex25 of Peru was short on chips and went all in with pocket sevens, but raw_dawg and bouillon called with pocket nines and a king-eight of spades, respectively. Bouillax won the pot because he had three kings on the flop.

Soon after, Raw_dawg was in a big hand where three players went all-in. Kuzyaev14 bet more with pocket kings, raw_dawg shoved with ace-jack of clubs, and Gulmamedov called with pocket aces. The board was good for Gulmamedov, so raw_dawg was out, and Kuzyaev14 was left with only eight big blinds.

Kuzyaev14’s stack was getting smaller and smaller, so they went all-in with ace-five against Traneren’s strong ace-jack. There were no shocks in the community cards, so only six players were left at the final table.

BuddyLuv, one of the two British players at the final table, went all-in with kings and fours. Still, VirtuLOKO beat him with aces and tens, getting BuddyLuv out of the game.

In a fight of the blinds, Gulmamedov stopped Bouillax from going on his way. Gulmamedov went all-in with an ace-three of spades, and Bouillax called with pocket queens. Gulmamedov won the hand with an ace on the river, stopping Bouillax’s run.

The following person to leave was a trainer from Denmark. He fought with Tony996 and had to settle for fourth place. Tony996’s pocket tens beat Traneren’s ace-king, and Tony996 hit a set to eliminate another player.

The best part of the game was when VirtuLOKO and Gulmamedov went head-to-head. VirtuLOKO slowly won a key coin flip to seal the deal. VirtuLOKO called Gulmamedov’s shove with a hand of king-ten of clubs. The flop was good for VirtuLOKO, giving him a set of sevens, the win, and $9,723 in prize money.

In the end, this is how the table turned out:

VirtuLOKO (Brazil): Prize money of $7,305 and bonuses of $2,418 for $9,723.
