Espen Jorstad Stunning Start: $122,000 Win in 2023 WCOOP Debut

Espen Jorstad : The 2023 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) got off to a roaring start over the weekend, bringing with it some of the biggest names in online poker. Espen Hymn2Ninkasi Jorstad, the Winner of the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, was one of these famous people. He started his 2023 World Championship of Online Poker campaign with a massive win of $122,371.

In WCOOP 03-H: $3,150 NLHE, Jorstad’s trip was shown. Progressive KO was a battleground where 132 fighters fought for power and a piece of the $400,000 prize pool. When the dust settled, nine people were left at the final table. Each of them was promised almost $8,000, including their bounty rewards.

So far, Roman RomeOpro Romanovskyi from Ukraine has won the most money in the 2023 WCOOP. He took home a whopping $203,121. This considerable win happened in the WCOOP 04-H: $10,300 NLHE High Roller tournament, where 85 people competed for a total prize pool of $850,000. Lex L. Veldhuis Veldhuis of Team PokerStars missed making it to the final table. He finished 10th and won $21,452.

Jans Graftekkel Arends ($26,783), Tom 7tHEcROw7 Macdonald ($33,440), Jesper8 ($43,270), and Aleksejs APonakov Ponakovs ($55,991) all made brief visits at the final table. Niklas Lena900 Astedt, a famous Swedish online poker player who won $72,451, finished in fifth place. His fellow Swede flerrhuve, who won $93,750, finished in fourth place and got the last five-figure payment.
