Vivek Oberoi Visits Mahakumbh 2025 with Family to Offer Gratitude: A Star’s Spiritual Journey at India’s Biggest Festival!

Actor Vivek Oberoi, accompanied by his family, visited the ongoing Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj on Thursday to take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers meet. This year’s celebration marks one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, attracting millions of devotees and tourists.

Vivek expressed his gratitude to the Uttar Pradesh government for the thorough arrangements at the festival. He remarked on the pride he feels witnessing such a grand event being celebrated in India with immense love and devotion. “We have come here to thank God… We want to thank the government of India, especially the government of Uttar Pradesh, their administration, and every officer present here for making such good preparations,” Vivek told ANI. He added, “It feels very proud that today, the world’s biggest festival is being celebrated in such a beautiful way in our country.”

Earlier that day, fellow actor Vicky Kaushal also paid a visit to Mahakumbh 2025, just before the release of his upcoming film Chhaava, scheduled for February 14. Vicky shared his joy at attending the event, saying, “I am feeling good. I was waiting to visit Mahakumbh. I am fortunate as I got the opportunity to come here.”

According to officials from the Uttar Pradesh government, over 1.47 million devotees took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on Thursday alone, with 5 lakh being Kalpavasis and 9.79 lakh participating in the ongoing Mahakumbh. The total number of devotees who have immersed themselves in the sacred waters has surpassed 482.9 million as of February 12, marking a significant milestone in this grand event.

Mahakumbh 2025 commenced on Paush Purnima (January 13, 2025), and it will continue until Mahashivratri on February 26. As thousands gather to partake in this spiritual journey, Vivek Oberoi’s visit highlights the festival’s importance, creating an atmosphere of devotion and unity among participants and underlining the cultural richness of India.
