In an exciting development for the film industry, Danny Dyer joins the star-studded cast of Sky’s forthcoming Christmas comedy movie, “Tinsel Town,” alongside Kiefer Sutherland and Rebel Wilson. This much-anticipated film is set to feature a plethora of renowned actors, with filming expected to launch soon.
The extensive lineup includes notable talents such as Derek Jacobi, Mawaan Rizwan, Maria Friedman, Jason Manford, Asim Chaudhry, Ray Fearon, Alice Eve, Lucien Laviscount, James Lance, Meera Syal, Katherine Ryan, and Savannah Lee Smith. Directed by Chris Foggin, known for “Bank of Dave,” “Tinsel Town” promises a delightful blend of comedy and heartfelt moments.
The film centers around Bradley Mack, portrayed by Kiefer Sutherland, a washed-up Hollywood action star who finds himself in a quaint, snow-covered village to star in a quirky local production of “Cinderella.” Throughout his journey, he crosses paths with an eccentric group of locals who gradually capture his heart, including Jill, a no-nonsense choreographer played by Rebel Wilson.
The writing team, consisting of Frazer Flintham, Adam Brown, Piers Ashworth, and Jake Brunger, has crafted a script filled with charm and humor.
