Fillion, currently starring in ABC’s The Rookie, addressed these revival prospects during an appearance on Michael Rosenbaum’s Inside of You podcast. He frankly discussed his eagerness to work with Whedon, underlining that his personal encounters with the filmmaker were contrary to public allegations. While acknowledging Whedon’s missteps, Fillion highlighted Whedon’s efforts to acknowledge and address his past behavior.
