The request aims to recognize Amitabh Bachchan’s remarkable impact on Bollywood. With Sholay and Deewaar, released in 1975, Amitabh Bachchan’s portrayal as the ‘angry young man’ became legendary, contributing to his enduring stardom in the industry.
Historically, the first commemorative postage stamp was released in 1971, honoring Dadasaheb Phalke, the pioneer of Indian cinema. Subsequent stamps celebrated icons like Satyajit Ray, Raj Kapoor, and Madhubala, cementing their legacies in the annals of cinematic history.
