Ben Affleck was recently seen taking several electric motorcycles for a test drive in Los Angeles. This exciting excursion follows his reflections on his much-talked-about divorce from Jennifer Lopez. The “Argo” star spent the day riding various colorful bikes while equipped with a black helmet, matching jacket, jeans, and sneakers. TMZ reported that three motorbikes had been delivered to his home, and while these bikes can reach speeds of up to 218 MPH, Affleck chose to ride at a more leisurely pace in his neighborhood.
Affleck’s passion for motorcycles isn’t new; he already owns a customized BMW motorcycle, a 48th-birthday gift from his former girlfriend, Ana de Armas. He often shares his love for riding with his son Samuel, whom he co-parents with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Their bond was evident during a motorcycle ride they enjoyed together in June 2024.
The actor’s recent rides come on the heels of his GQ cover story, where he candidly discussed his separation from Jennifer Lopez. At 55, Lopez, after reuniting with Affleck post their initial engagement breakup in 2004, ended their two-year marriage in August 2024. Affleck described the split as “drama-free,” expressing nothing but respect for Lopez. He remarked on the public’s tendency to scrutinize breakups but asserted that, in reality, the reasons were far more mundane than most might assume.
Though he chose not to delve deeply into the divorce specifics, Affleck admitted that discussing it felt vulnerable and somewhat embarrassing. Affleck’s relationship with Lopez, highlighted by their Las Vegas elopement in July 2022, concluded with their divorce settlement this past January.
Besides his reflections and motorcycle endeavors, Affleck has been increasingly present in his children’s lives. He was recently seen enjoying a paintball outing with Garner and their three kids: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13. This outing, which captivated public attention, also stirred reactions from Garner’s current partner, John Miller, who reportedly issued an ultimatum following the event.
