Salman Khan Viral Video Controversy: Actor Faces Criticism Over Interaction with Rashmika Mandanna During Paparazzi Photoshoot

Salman Khan finds himself in the midst of a viral video controversy following a paparazzi photoshoot incident with actress Rashmika Mandanna. On Sunday evening, March 30, shortly after the theatrical release of their film Sikandar, the two actors were seen in Mumbai as part of their promotional activities. Among several circulating photos and videos, one clip drew significant attention, causing a stir among netizens.

The video shows Salman Khan posing for the paparazzi as Rashmika Mandanna exits her car. However, before the Animal actress steps out completely, Salman appears to ‘pull’ her along, a gesture that has led to criticism. Social media users were quick to question the actor’s actions, with several remarks highlighting their concern.

A user on Instagram queried, “Why he mishave with her?” Another questioned under the video, “Why did he pull her hand away like that?” Echoing these sentiments, a comment stated, “He forced her to come out and take a picture,” while a fan mentioned, “Looks like she was not comfortable with that behaviour.”

The viral clip prompted further responses, “That’s disrespectful. She is clearly not comfortable with his act,” wrote one user. Others also added to the criticism with comments like, “Y he is dragging her out?” and “Car se khich ke bahar nikala,” expressing their displeasure.

Amid criticism, some fans stepped forward to defend Salman Khan, arguing that the action was benign. “Ha to kya hua hath pakar liya isme itna mark kar kar ke notice karne wali konsi baat ho gayi,” defended a user, suggesting it was blown out of proportion. Supporting Salman further, a fan mentioned, “Rashmika’s leg is injured. They are helping.” Another pointed out, “Nothing wrong in it! He just pulled her back for pictures together.”

Salman and Rashmika appeared together for the first time in AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar, which was released on the occasion of Eid, March 30. The film’s opening day saw a collection of Rs 26 crore in India, falling short of the initial box office figures of Rashmika’s collaboration with Vicky Kaushal in Chhaava and Salman’s earlier release, Tiger Zinda Hai, which garnered Rs 33 crore on its first day.

The viral video has added a layer of controversy to the film’s release, as it continues to spark discussions online. With mixed reactions to Salman Khan’s gesture, the incident remains a trending topic, highlighting both the potential for viral content to polarize public opinion and the fine line celebrities walk in the public eye.
