Salman Khan Box Office Performance: Sikandar Hits Rs 107 Cr in 11 Days Amid Sunny Deol’s Jaat Release

Salman Khan‘s latest venture, Sikandar, has made an impressive splash at the box office, amassing over Rs 107 crore in just 11 days since its Eid debut. Directed by AR Murugadoss and featuring Rashmika Mandanna, this mass entertainer has yielded mixed reactions from audiences. Despite varying opinions, the film managed to rake in approximately Rs 1.35 crore on its eleventh day, indicating a slowdown in its momentum since its explosive first week, where it garnered Rs 90.25 crore.

Sikandar faces intense competition as it stands against L2: Empuraan, the Malayalam hit starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj, which continues to perform robustly despite controversies. Additionally, Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, although slowing before Eid, posed an initial challenge. Yet, the real test lies ahead with Sunny Deol’s highly anticipated release, Jaat, which coincides with Sikandar’s ongoing run. This new film, featuring talents like Randeep Hooda and Viineet Kumar Singh, is backed by directors Gopichand Malineni and production houses Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory.

Sikandar has not only achieved domestic success but has also crossed the Rs 200 crore mark globally. The film’s creators and Salman Khan himself express gratitude for the audience’s positive reception, underscoring the significance of such support. The film’s maker, in a recent update, appreciated viewers for their unwavering enthusiasm.

Salman Khan’s captivating entry scenes have been praised widely, with fans celebrating these moments on social platforms. This cinematic venture, succeeding in capturing the audience’s attention and pockets, further solidifies Salman Khan’s position as a box office juggernaut, potentially paving the way for future successes in an arena marked by stiff competition and ever-evolving tastes.
