The film’s haldi ceremony theme led journalists to don vibrant yellow attire, adding a unique flair to the event. Rajkummar Rao captivated the audience when asked about his comedic flair, stating, “I can be very funny and I can also be very serious, depending on the character. But in life, I love having fun more than being serious. I like both; I enjoy having serious conversations.” This blend of humor and depth is evidently a key aspect of his personality, enhancing his appeal as a versatile actor.
Diving into his longstanding collaboration with Dinesh Vijan, Rajkummar Rao reminisced about the start of their professional relationship: “Kuch rishte oopar se ban ke aate hain. Mera aur Dinoo ka rishta bhi oopar se ban ke aaya hai. The beginning of our association is quite interesting. My first film with Dinoo was Raabta (2017), in which I played a small role. People saw me in that film and said, ‘Arre yeh role toh koi bhi kar sakta tha kyunki tum pehchaan mein nahin aa rahe ho. Toh fir tumne yeh role kyun kiya’! I told them that there must be a reason. But I guess the reason was that we were destined to meet. Then we worked on Stree (2018) and that film created magic.” His mention of Stree stirred applause, highlighting the impressive impact of their work together.
Rajkummar Rao expressed admiration for Dinesh Vijan’s dedication and vision, saying, “I learn and get inspired from Dinoo’s passion and vision. If you don’t have a belief in your story, then there’s no point in making the film. Dinoo is the only producer who loves each and every film of his production with equal dedication and honesty. He doesn’t differentiate between small and big projects.” Such appreciation emphasizes their strong bond and mutual respect in their collaborative efforts.
