Mickey Rourke and Jack Shepherd in First Celebrity Big Brother Eviction Vote

In a thrilling turn of events on Celebrity Big Brother, Jack P. Shepherd, Mickey Rourke, and Sir Michael Fabricant have been put up for eviction. As the ITV1 reality show’s latest season unfolds, these entrenched personalities find themselves at the mercy of the public’s decision.

The revelation came to light during the Thursday, April 10 episode when Jack Shepherd humorously reacted to his nomination, saying, “I’m disappointed…no I’m not!” His lighthearted approach underscored the intense atmosphere that now surrounds the house.

Mickey Rourke’s eviction threat was already looming earlier in the week, thanks to ex-Nickelodeon star JoJo Siwa. The twenty-one-year-old was tasked with assigning a Killer Nomination and chose the Hollywood veteran as her target. However, Mickey wasn’t the only one; JoJo also nominated Michael and Jack.

Explaining her decisions in the diary room, JoJo began with Michael: “My first one…I can’t believe I’m saying it, it’s Michael. Today, this morning, he sat on the counter and put his feet up on the counter,” she noted, expressing annoyance despite Michael wearing socks. She emphasized the importance of respect and consideration in a shared space, particularly from one of the older housemates.

Next, JoJo turned to Jack, criticizing his lack of empathy: “My second nomination is Jack. What I’ve observed from Jack in this house is that Jack does Jack. If you’re looking for your water bottle, he’s not gonna help you find it. He never asks ‘How are you doing?'” JoJo stressed the need for mutual support and compassion in the household dynamics.

Jack’s nomination echoed across the house, with endorsements from several celebrities, including singer Chesney Hawkes, former CBBC host Angellica Bell, drag performer Danny Beard, comedian Donna Preston, TOWIE personality Ella Rae Wise, and actress Patsy Palmer. Patsy, a former ‘EastEnders’ star, also nominated Michael along with ex-daytime TV presenter Trisha Goddard and sports legend Daley Thompson.

Initially, Mickey Rourke stood firm in his decision to abstain from nominating anyone. In the diary room, he passionately declared his stance, refusing to compromise his principles: “I choose not to evict anyone, I refuse to do that. You can come up here and put a gun up my a** but I will not choose two people to toss off the shelf.”

Eventually, faced with the show’s demands, Mickey conceded, choosing Patsy due to dissatisfaction with her cooking skills: “I guess if I have to pick, put Patsy on the list. Just because of the cooking. I hated the food the other night. The broccoli, I couldn’t chew it.” He elaborated on his preference for palatable vegetables, adding, “I need to eat my vegetables but I need to be able to chew them. Go ahead, put her name down.”

Mickey’s second choice was Michael, based on a general distrust of politicians: “If I have to pick somebody [else], I’ll take off Michael. He’s a politician, right? Politics in general, they’re telling you what they’re gonna do on one hand but on the other they’re not gonna do a thing. I don’t find politics very truthful and honest.”

This intense nomination round throws the Celebrity Big Brother house into turmoil, setting the stage for high drama. As fans eagerly anticipate the outcome of the public vote, the dynamic between housemates remains tense and unpredictable. The upcoming eviction will indeed test the resolve of those involved, potentially reshaping alliances and strategies within the Big Brother house.
