Rachel Brosnahan to Star and Executive Produce “Presumed Innocent” Season 2 on Apple TV+

Rachel Brosnahan executive produces Presumed Innocent season 2, adding to her responsibilities as the main star of the Apple TV+ legal anthology. The new season is being developed by David E. Kelley Productions and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot, along with Warner Bros. Television, and it is based on Jo Murray’s debut thriller novel, Dissection of a Murder. For now, the show’s storyline is a closely guarded secret.

Production Team and Executive Producers Announced

In addition to Brosnahan, the production includes a host of well-known executive producers. Jake Gyllenhaal, the lead from the first season, joins as an executive producer through his Nine Stories company. Key executive producers also listed are Rachel Rusch Rich, Erica Lipez, Matthew Tinker, and Dustin Thomason. David E. Kelley and Erica Lipez will serve as showrunners for the new season. The original Presumed Innocent author, Scott Turow, will be involved as co-executive producer. J.J. Abrams brings his production expertise via Bad Robot.

Audiences can look forward to seeing Brosnahan as Lois Lane in DC’s Superman, which is set for theatrical release on July 11.
