The much-awaited eighth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2025 is set to take place on February 10 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Registration for PPC 2025 began on December 14, 2024, and concluded on January 14, 2025, with lakhs of eager students signing up for the opportunity to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This year, some of the most influential personalities will join PM Modi to guide students on managing exam stress, making career choices, and dealing with societal pressure.
As part of this initiative, eight podcast episodes will be featured, where these prominent figures will share insights. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will focus on mental health, emphasizing the importance of addressing emotional well-being, especially during challenging academic times. Alongside her, spiritual leader Sadhguru will discuss stress management and mindfulness, while boxing legend Mary Kom and Paralympic gold medalist Avani Lekhara will share their journeys of overcoming obstacles.
Continuing his support for students, PM Modi held informal chats with 30-40 students at Sundar Nursery in Delhi, discussing exams and stress related to studies. He stressed the significance of a student-first approach in education, highlighting the value of holistic learning over mere rankings. Approximately 2,500 selected students will attend the event, receiving PPC kits from the education ministry. Additionally, the top 10 ‘Legendary Exam Warriors’ will have the remarkable opportunity to visit the Prime Minister’s residence.
During the PPC event, PM Modi will directly answer questions from the students, fostering a unique interactive atmosphere. Launched in 2018 as part of PM Modi’s vision for stress-free and holistic education, Pariksha Pe Charcha aims to boost students’ confidence rather than increase their anxiety. Over the years, the program has evolved, incorporating new technologies and interactive features to remain engaging and meaningful.
This year’s PPC 2025 edition has seen a record-breaking 3.6 crore registrations, comprising 3.3 crore students, 2.7 lakh teachers, and 5.5 lakh parents. The significance of having Deepika Padukone share her insights on mental health cannot be underestimated, as her presence adds a relatable dimension to the discussions surrounding student well-being. The collaborative efforts of these prominent figures aim to inspire and uplift students, equipping them with the skills needed to navigate their academic journeys successfully.
