In the first event of the series, a $550 buy-in battle, the poker pro from Rhode Island showed off his impressive skills by coming in seventh out of 1,020 players. His hard work at this event paid off, and he won a respectable $13,800. But this was just a warm-up for his fantastic showing in Event #2, which cost $1,100 to enter.
Kachittavong’s desire was limitless when he went to Event #2. In a fantastic show of skill and determination, he beat out 714 other rivals to become the clear winner. The fact that he won this game shows how good he is at poker, and winning $105,407 in prize money is a nice bonus.
