Lisa Joy (born May 23, 1977) is an American screenwriter, director, producer, and lawyer. She is best known as the co-creator, writer, director, and executive producer of the HBO science-fiction drama series Westworld. Joy has earned multiple Primetime Emmy Award nominations for her work on Westworld and has written for several television series before making her feature film directorial debut with Reminiscence in 2021.

Lisa Joy was born in New Jersey and raised in an immigrant family; her father is from England and her mother is Taiwanese.
