Jared Craig Shuster is an American professional baseball pitcher who has pitched in Major League Baseball for the Atlanta Braves and Chicago White Sox. The Atlanta Braves selected Shuster in the first round of the 2020 MLB Draft with the 25th overall pick. He signed for a bonus of $2,197,500, with the savings helping the Braves sign Bryce Elder. Though included in the team’s 60-player pool during the shortened 2020 season, he did not appear in a game.
He began 2021 at Single-A Rome before earning a promotion to Double-A Mississippi, finishing the year 2-0 with a 4.44 ERA and 90 strikeouts in 73 innings, earning MiLB.com Organization All-Star honors.
