John Peers Bio
John William Peers (born 25 July 1988) is an Australian professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. He reached a career-high ATP doubles ranking of world No. 2 on 3 April 2017, and a singles ranking of No. 456 in June 2012. A three-time Grand Slam champion across men’s and mixed doubles, Peers is also an Olympic gold medalist representing Australia in international competition.
Early Life and Background
John William Peers was born on 25 July 1988 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He grew up in Melbourne and attended Mentone Grammar School, where he played competitive tennis and led the 1STS team to two premierships. His first premiership came when he was in Year 7 in 2001, and his second came when he was in Year 12 in 2006.
