Michael Lamar Porter Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born on June 29, 1998, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he played college basketball at the University of Missouri. Porter was highly recruited and selected as the 14th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets. He won his first NBA championship in 2023 with the Nuggets.

Michael Porter Jr. was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and raised in a basketball-focused household.
