Norman Reedus is an American actor recognized for his portrayal of Daryl Dixon on AMC’s The Walking Dead, a role created specifically for him and widely regarded as the defining work of his career. He first gained attention playing Murphy MacManus in The Boondock Saints (1999) and its 2009 sequel, and has built a diverse résumé across independent films and studio projects, including Blade II and American Gangster. Beyond acting, Reedus hosts the AMC travel series Ride with Norman Reedus, founded Bigbaldhead Productions, and voiced Sam Porter Bridges in Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding (2019) and its 2025 sequel.
