Fearless Fund Defends Black Women: Supporters of a venture capital fund for Black women entrepreneurs protested racial injustice on Thursday. The fund encourages African-American women entrepreneurs. The Fearless Fund’s directors and counsel denounced a conservative activist’s lawsuit at a New York news conference. Fearless Fund was charged. The fund’s backers have responded strongly to Edward Blum’s legal fight against affirmative action.

Fearless Fund and their legal team stated during the news conference that they wanted to take on the American Alliance for Equal Rights case, which Edward Blum founded. The American Alliance for Equal Rights promotes equality in the US. Blum successfully challenged university affirmative action legislation. He’s now focusing on the Fearless Fund’s support of Black women-owned businesses. Blum’s success in challenging higher education affirmative action policies prompted this shift. 

“We are not afraid; we are not scared,” said Atlanta-based Fearless Fund CEO and co-founder Arian Simone. Simone co-founded the Fearless Fund. “We won’t let ourselves be scared.” She sounded determined to address the claims directly. The fund’s main purpose is to help women of color venture capital entrepreneurs tackle their biggest difficulty.

Giving them equal chances will do this. The staggering 0.39% of $288 billion that women of color producers will receive in 2022 underscored the relevance of their cause. This issue harmed women of color most. JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and MasterCard want to invest in this business.

Edward Blum wondered why Hispanics, Native Americans, Asians, and white women were left out as more people began to notice them. People started paying less attention to him and more to them. Famous civil rights lawyer Alphonso David defended the Fearless Fund against the preposterous charge that it violated Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866. David testified during the lawsuit. David said the lawsuit’s assertions were cynical and illogical, showing that the fund was still devoted to its recipients’ equitable advancement.
