Margot Robbie’s Wild Victorian-Themed Wuthering Heights Party Revealed

Margot Robbie recently shared an unusual celebration her friends organized to honor her character, Catherine Earnshaw, from the upcoming film Wuthering Heights. The actress described the event, known as the Margot Robbie Wuthering Heights Party, as unexpectedly lively and memorable.

Behind the Scenes of the Victorian-Inspired Celebration

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Robbie recounted how her friends threw a bachelorette party specifically for her fictional character. At first, she thought the idea was a joke.

“My friends, who are amazing, threw a bachelorette for Cathy,”

Robbie said.

“I kind of thought it was a joke at first. And I was like, ‘Wait, are we really going to have a fake bachelorette for an imaginary character?’ They were like ‘Yes, absolutely.’ So I thought that’s a great idea.”

Kimmel joked about the freedom such a party allows, saying,

“That’s a great idea because you could do anything you want and just say it was Cathy.”

Robbie responded with humor,

“I should have used that. [Maybe] next time I have an imaginary bachelorette.”

A Night of Victorian-Themed Revelry

Although Robbie withheld many specifics, respecting what she called “girls’ code,” she did reveal that she hosted a private screening of the film for her friends and described it as the wildest experience she has had.

“I mean, first of all, it was the funnest Wednesday night I’ve ever had in my life. Like, it ended up being like the craziest night ever,”

she said.

She explained that her friends were animated throughout the movie, reacting with loud comments and emotional outbursts, even likening them to “rabid dogs.” The group embraced a Victorian theme that was “Victorian slutty,” with everyone dressed in corsets and laces.

Star Sightings and Private Revelations

The festivities included spirited reactions when her co-star Jacob Elordi appeared on screen. Robbie joked,

“Honestly, I was like, ‘If he walked in right now, I think they would eat him.’”

She expressed relief that the celebration took place in a private setting, acknowledging that “there was nothing appropriate” about the party’s atmosphere.

Anticipation Builds for Wuthering Heights Release

Wuthering Heights is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 13, 2026. This unique glimpse into Margot Robbie’s off-screen experiences highlights the excitement and close bonds surrounding the film’s production, promising an intriguing look at her portrayal of Catherine Earnshaw.
