Stephen King’s The Institute Adds Game of Thrones Star

Stephen King The Institute has strengthened its cast for Season 2 with the addition of Alfie Allen, best known for his role as Theon Greyjoy in Game of Thrones. This casting update follows the recent confirmation by Stephen King that production on the second season has already begun.

Alfie Allen joins the show after a diverse career, including portraying a villain in the 2014 film John Wick and starring in the limited series Girl Taken. He will also appear alongside former Game of Thrones actors in Netflix’s upcoming sci-fi series 3 Body Problem. The Institute, based on King’s 2019 novel, follows a secretive facility that experiments on children with supernatural abilities.

Mary-Louise Parker portrays Ms. Sigsby, the facility’s director, while key supporting cast members include Simone Miller, Julian Richings, Martin Roach, Robert Joy, Hannah Galway, and Fionn Laird.

Additional ensemble players such as Dan Beirne, Mary Walsh, Jason Diaz, Brendan Beiser, and Jordan Alexander contribute to the complex narrative that explores themes of power, control, and survival within the Institute’s walls.
