Chris Pratt’s Valentine’s Day Advice: Don’t Wait, Start Early

Los Angeles, February 3 – Actor Chris Pratt, married to Katherine Schwarzenegger since 2019, discussed his plans for Valentine’s Day and shared valuable advice for men preparing for the occasion. Known for balancing his career and family life, Pratt emphasized a unique approach to celebrating this special day with his wife.

Speaking with Extra, Pratt revealed that Katherine is not fond of the typical Valentine’s Day bustle. He explained,

“Katherine is somebody who does not love to go out on Valentine’s Day. She thinks it’s like a little bit too busy out there, but that just means that every day that’s not Valentine’s Day, I have to treat like Valentine’s Day.”

Advice to Men: Celebrate Early and Unexpectedly

Drawing from his personal experience, Chris Pratt urged other men not to wait until Valentine’s Day to show appreciation to their partners. He advised,

“So, gentlemen, if you’re out there and you’re wondering what to do, don’t wait until Valentine’s Day. Get in early. Do something that’s not Valentine’s Day. You know, that’s when she’s least expects it.”

By suggesting acts of affection on ordinary days, Pratt encourages men to create meaningful moments beyond the typical holiday.

The Origin of Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s Relationship

Pratt also addressed rumors about how he met Katherine Schwarzenegger, clarifying that his mother-in-law, Maria Shriver, was not involved in their introduction. Instead, he recounted the moment he first saw Katherine at church in Hollywood.

“That’s actually not true. Let’s settle it now. I met my wife in church. I was at a church in Hollywood, and I looked over and I saw her. And I know you’re not supposed to be, like, checking out girls at church, but I’m only human. And I thought, ‘Wow, she’s really cute,’”

he said during an interview on FOX and Friends.

He shared a lighter moment from the early days, admitting he was “sneaking glances” at Katherine. On The Drew Barrymore Show, Pratt joked,

“You kind of don’t want to be like, ‘Whoa, who is that?’ at church, you know what I mean. But I was kind of sneaking some glances and I was like, ‘Who is that? Anyway, what am I doing? Come on, I’m broken, help me.’”

Faith and Fast-Forwarding Love

Chris Pratt reflected on how quickly their relationship developed. He described it as a process guided by fate and faith, stating,

“God has a fast-forward button When it’s right, boom. You fall in love, you get married. Now we have two beautiful daughters to add to my family. My own journey, finding a higher power and leaning on that and being like, ‘please save me,’ and then feeling saved. And then shortly later finding the woman of my dreams.”

Building a Family and Life Together

Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s story highlights the importance of connecting on a deeper level beyond tradition, revealing how everyday acts of love can nurture lasting relationships. Their experience serves as a reminder that Valentine’s Day is not just about one day but about consistent care and attention throughout the year. As the holiday approaches, Pratt’s advice encourages others to be proactive and thoughtful early on, creating genuine moments that strengthen bonds.
