Jeff Goldblum’s UK Tour Hits Manchester—But Not as You Know

Hollywood actor Jeff Goldblum, famed for his iconic roles in Jurassic Park and Wicked, is bringing his band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra to the UK for the very first time. The Jeff Goldblum UK tour will visit four cities this May and June, including a stop at Manchester’s Palace Theatre on June 3.

A Limited but Star-Studded UK Tour Schedule

The Night Blooms tour will begin in Wolverhampton at the Civic Hall on May 28, continue to Glasgow’s Theatre Royal on June 1, and then move to Manchester for a June 3 performance. The tour wraps up in London with a show at the Royal Albert Hall on June 30. Tickets for the London date are already available, while tickets for the other UK dates will go on sale to the public on February 13, after a special pre-sale on February 12.

More Than an Actor: Jeff Goldblum’s Jazz Career

Jeff Goldblum, 73, who hails from Pennsylvania, launched The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra over three decades ago. The band has toured worldwide, interpreting jazz and classic American Songbook tunes with a modern flair. Their latest album, Still Blooming, released last year, features collaborations with notable artists such as Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and Scarlett Johansson. A follow-up album, Still Blooming: Night Blooms, is expected this summer.

Connecting Film Fame to Musical Talent

While Goldblum is mostly recognized for his acting—including his Academy Award-nominated performances and memorable roles as Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park, Seth Brundle in The Fly, and the Wizard of Oz in Wicked—his musical talents remain a significant part of his artistic identity. In addition to film and stage, he continues to engage his audience through live music performances with The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.

Tour Includes Special Australian Dates

Before the UK leg, Goldblum and his orchestra will perform five concerts in Australia this April and May, culminating with a significant show at Sydney Opera House on May 5. These dates precede the UK tour, showing the international scope of the band’s engagements.

A Nostalgic Return to the Jurassic Park Spotlight

In conjunction with the music tour, Jeff Goldblum is revisiting his famous Jurassic Park character. He recently joined co-stars Laura Dern and Sam Neill for a special Super Bowl commercial promoting the telecommunications company Xfinity. In the ad, Goldblum plays the original 1993 Jurassic Park theme, composed by John Williams, bridging his film legacy with his current creative endeavors.
