The sequel to the 2024 film Panda Plan centers on Jackie Chan playing himself as he embarks on an adventure with Hu Hu, a panda regarded as a divine creature by a hidden ancient tribe. This tribe depends on Hu Hu to solve a critical crisis threatening their survival.
Jackie faces challenges from the tribe’s unusual members, including their leader Zu Zhang, who commands the wind; fierce warrior Qiang Shan; prince Tu Lu; and the gifted princess Sha Yi. Each character brings a unique presence to the story’s unfolding drama and action.
JJ Lin Surprises Fans with a Memorable Cameo
In a scene toward the film’s conclusion, Jackie wakes up in a car with JJ Lin seated beside him, catching viewers off guard since JJ was not mentioned in the film’s earlier promotional trailers. During his cameo, JJ performs a few lines from his 2005 song “Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou” (“A Thousand Years Later”), and the duo finishes with a performance of their hit “Skibidi” as the credits roll.

JJ Lin has had prior experience with cameo roles, such as playing the elder brother of Lu Ruixi (portrayed by Ella Chen) in the 2007 Taiwanese adaptation of the Japanese manga Hanazakarino Kimitachihe. Their camaraderie was also showcased in two promotional videos released on February 18 via Weibo and Douyin, where Jackie shared clips from an April 2025 music festival appearance and invited JJ to sing the movie’s soundtrack.
