Nicole Brydon Bloom, known for her role in Paradise, is preparing to embrace a significant new chapter alongside her husband, Justin Theroux. “I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I love kids,”

The Couple’s Journey to Parenthood
Bloom and Theroux shared their pregnancy news in December 2025, roughly nine months after tying the knot in Tulum, Mexico. Bloom acknowledged the challenges parenthood might bring, including returning to work, but remained optimistic and joyful about this new phase.
“It’ll have its challenges with going back to work and everything, but I’m just thrilled, very happy,”
she noted.
How They Met and the Beginning of Their Relationship
Their story began in 2022 when they met through mutual friends at a bar in New York City. Bloom recalled to Vogue in March 2025 that it was an unusually cold night when Theroux kindly offered her his gloves, which she gladly accepted before returning them once indoors.
Interestingly, the ring Bloom wore that evening slipped off into the gloves. Theroux sent her a photo of the small diamond ring inside his glove, leading Bloom to think she had lost it.
“Justin put his hands into the glove the next morning and the ring slid halfway onto his finger,”
she said.
“He likes to joke that I proposed first, the very first night we met!”
Despite Theroux’s playful suggestion, he was confident that the ring mishap was accidental.
“Now, knowing Nicole as well as I do, it certainly was not. She has left more jewelry, jackets, and bags in places than I can count. So, definitely not a move,”
he admitted. Still, Theroux realized Nicole was “The One” shortly after meeting her and told a friend as much.
Reflecting on that night, Theroux shared,
“I had no way of knowing how prescient his comment would turn out to be. I then begged him to go over to collect her name, which like an idiot I had not gotten.”

Theroux proposed to Bloom in August 2024 during a trip to Italy. Bloom remembers the moment vividly:
“We were looking out at the water and the moon when he proposed. He said some of the most beautiful things. It was wonderful — we were both crying.”
They married in March 2025 on a beach in Tulum, a place meaningful to them as the location where their relationship blossomed. Bloom described their wedding weekend to Vogue as intimate and serene, saying,
“We wanted a destination that felt private, romantic, and very relaxed. The best part? We had a full moon for the entire weekend. It rose directly behind us on the beach on Thursday and felt very full circle from the proposal to now.”
Theroux also shared his reflections on the ceremony, stating,
“All I’ll say is, it was wonderful. Ceremonies with vows are about the words contained within them. And they are better left un-described here. That being said, the officiant said some wonderful things, and my wife was just … well, incredibly touching. I was very moved.”
