Lohan shared with Vogue Arabia how relocating to Dubai in 2014 marked a turning point in her life, where she met her husband, Kuwaiti financier Bader Shammas. The couple welcomed their son, Luai, in July 2023. She described their relationship as a calming and balanced partnership, stating,
“We’re so good together because he’s so calm and I’m like a firecracker. We have a great balance.”
Living in Dubai has offered Lohan a more grounded and private lifestyle. She expressed,
“Being in Dubai is very grounding. I get to just spend time with my family. The city gives me a sense of being with what’s most important.”
This change has allowed her to enjoy a break from constant public scrutiny, adding,
“That’s a big breath of fresh air, having to not overthink everything you do every second.”
