John Cusack S Graphic Novel Momo Set To Shock Fans

John Cusack, known for his role in Serendipity, is preparing to release his first graphic novel, Momo, in the summer of 2026. The John Cusack graphic novel will debut through Mad Cave Studios at San Diego Comic-Con, creating significant anticipation among fans and comic enthusiasts alike.

From Concept to Creation: The Journey of Momo

Cusack began developing Momo years ago, drawing inspiration from classified 1970s drug route documents he reviewed with artist Damian Hirst. The project gained momentum after Hirst discovered Cusack’s script, originally 150 pages, which expanded to 192 pages during development to fully capture the story’s depth. Ignacio Noé, the artist, played a crucial role in bringing Cusack’s vision to life, investing immense effort into decoding the narrative and delivering what Mark Irwin, vice president of Mad Cave Studios, calls the finest work of Noé’s career.

A Dark and Intriguing Narrative

Momo combines conspiracy theories, cosmic horror, and surreal fantasy into a gripping storyline. It follows two criminals on the run who deliver a mysterious artifact to the legendary television personality Jackie Gleason. Their mission quickly spirals into chaos as they encounter supernatural entities, demon-possessed creatures, and occult figures, creating an intense and unpredictable adventure.

Upcoming Promotion and Anticipation

Promotion for Momo will be a central focus for Cusack throughout 2026, with plans for appearances on late-night talk shows to reach a wider audience. The release at San Diego Comic-Con highlights the novel’s potential impact in both the comic and entertainment communities, setting the stage for significant fan engagement and critical attention.
