WhatsApp New Quick Action Bar: Simplifying Business Interactions”

WhatsApp New Quick Action Bar: WhatsApp, under the Meta umbrella, is reportedly testing a nifty feature known as the “quick action bar” within its Android Business app. This feature offers users a swift way to execute various actions within the app. As per WABetaInfo, a new icon may pop up above the microphone button, summoning a quick action bar right above the chat interface. This bar equips users with speedy access to essential functions like creating orders, accessing quick replies, and sending products from their catalog.

The goal here is to streamline interactions with customers, ensuring that crucial features remain readily accessible. This translates to businesses saving time and effort when using the app. Presently, the quick action bar feature is in the hands of some beta testers who have adopted the latest WhatsApp Business beta for Android. It’s expected to roll out to a wider audience in the coming days.

In addition to this new feature, WhatsApp has been ramping up its payment capabilities. Just last month, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled a feature in India enabling WhatsApp users to make payments to businesses via various methods, including UPI apps, debit and credit cards, and more.

To support these payment options, Meta partnered with online payment solutions provider PayU and Bengaluru-based Razorpay. This follows the company’s launch of the payments service in Brazil and Singapore.

Collectively, these updates underscore WhatsApp’s dedication to enhancing the business user experience and expanding its abilities to foster seamless interactions between businesses and their customers.
