Vicky Kaushal’s star power keeps “Chhaava” strong, but Rs 500 crore milestone remains elusive after Day 21 collections.

In an impressive display of star power, Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s historical drama “Chhaava” concluded its third week with vigor. Yet, despite its strong performance, the film has not reached the coveted Rs 500 crore benchmark. On its third Wednesday, the film managed to bring in a decent collection, continuing its momentum at the box office. Although expectations were high for this milestone, it remains out of reach for now. Speculation surrounds the upcoming weekend collections, which could potentially alter the film’s trajectory toward this goal.

According to Sacnilk, “Chhaava” garnered Rs 5.35 crore on Day 21. The current net collection of the film stands at Rs 483.40 crore, driven by a Hindi occupancy rate of 10.24%. Breaking this down further, morning shows witnessed a 6.71% occupancy, afternoon shows saw 9.92%, evening shows had 10.33%, and night shows peaked at 14.01%, reflecting the film’s broad appeal throughout the day.

The week-wise box office collection reveals the film’s significant strides: the first week brought in Rs 219.25 crore, the second week amassed Rs 180.25 crore, followed by an early estimate of Rs 84.08 crore in the third week. Vicky Kaushal’s magnetic presence continues to draw audiences, yet the challenge of crossing the Rs 500 crore mark looms larger. As fans and industry insiders watch eagerly, the question remains—will “Chhaava” achieve historic success as the first Bollywood blockbuster of 2025 to hit this milestone?
