Arthur Maulet was born on July 13, 1993, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He grew up in the greater New Orleans area and attended Bonnabel High School in Kenner, Louisiana, where he began developing the skills that would carry him to the college ranks.
Coming out of high school, Maulet was not regarded as a top-tier national recruit, but his performances at Bonnabel earned him an opportunity to play college football. His local roots in southeast Louisiana helped shape his early football identity.
After high school, Maulet first attended Copiah–Lincoln Community College, where he played for the Copiah–Lincoln Wolves. He later transferred to the University of Memphis, joining the Memphis Tigers football program to finish out his college career at the Football Bowl Subdivision level.

Arthur Maulet signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2017. He was waived on September 2, 2017, and was signed to the Saints’ practice squad the next day. He was promoted to the active roster on September 23, 2017, but was waived two days later and re-signed to the practice squad before being promoted back to the active roster on December 2, 2017.
On September 21, 2018, Maulet was waived by the Saints. Shortly afterward, on September 24, 2018, he was claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts. He was waived by the Colts on November 20, 2018, and later returned to the Saints’ practice squad on November 26, 2018, beginning a familiar pattern of bouncing between active rosters and practice squads.
New York Jets Era (2019–2020)
On January 29, 2019, Arthur Maulet signed a reserve/future contract with the New York Jets. In Week 3 against the New England Patriots, Maulet recovered a fumble by punt returner Gunner Olszewski in the endzone for a touchdown, though the Jets lost 30-14.
