Carl Filip Anton Forsberg, known professionally as Filip Forsberg, is a Swedish professional ice hockey player and alternate captain for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on August 13, 1994, he was drafted 11th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft before being traded to the Predators without ever playing for Washington. Path to Professional Hockey
