Nashville Soccer Club, known as Nashville SC, is an American professional soccer team competing in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference. Founded on May 19, 2016, the club spent two seasons in the USL Championship before joining MLS in 2020 as an expansion franchise. Nashville SC plays its home matches at Geodis Park, the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States, with a capacity of 30,000. The team wears electric gold and acoustic blue, colors inspired by the flag of Nashville, and is nicknamed the Coyotes and the Boys in Gold.

An existing amateur club, Nashville FC, sold its team name, logo, and color scheme to the new USL franchise in exchange for a one percent equity stake and a voting seat on the board.
