Zion Logue Bio
Zion Jabez Logue (born July 13, 2001) is an American professional football defensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL draft.
A two-time College Football Playoff national champion with the Bulldogs, Logue transitioned to the professional ranks in 2024 and currently works as an interior defensive lineman. Standing 6 feet 6 inches tall and listed around 313 pounds, he brings length and run-stopping experience to the defensive line.
Early Life and Background
Logue was born on July 13, 2001, and grew up in Lebanon, Tennessee, where he was raised by his mother and grandmother. His Tennessee upbringing placed him near a strong football culture, and he attended Lebanon High School, where he developed into a two-way lineman with size and physicality beyond his years.
As a senior, Logue totaled 57 tackles while helping his team qualify for the playoffs for the first time in 15 years. He helped the defense allow only 11 points per game that season and was ranked seventh on The Tennessean’s list of top prospects in the Nashville area. His high school performance earned him a three-star recruit ranking, and he committed to play college football for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Path to Professional Football
Logue joined the Georgia Bulldogs as part of a highly competitive defensive line room and immediately began adjusting to the speed of Southeastern Conference play. He appeared in two games as a true freshman in 2019 without recording a tackle, then returned in 2020 to play five games and post eight tackles during a season disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
His role grew steadily during his time in Athens. He added 11 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, and a sack in 2021 while serving as a backup on a national championship squad. The following season he won a starting role at defensive tackle, started six of 14 games played, and finished with 16 tackles while helping Georgia repeat as national champions.

Across five college seasons, Logue appeared in 50 games for the Bulldogs, starting 16 times. He capped his career with a 2023 campaign in which he played all 14 games, started 10, and posted 17 tackles, 2.5 tackles-for-loss, and 0.5 sacks, finishing his senior season with consistent production up front.
He ended his collegiate career with 52 total tackles and 1.5 sacks and was invited to both the East–West Shrine Bowl and the NFL Scouting Combine. Those postseason opportunities helped establish him as a draft-eligible interior lineman with starting experience on a championship program.
Atlanta Falcons Era (2024)
Logue was selected in the sixth round, 197th overall, of the 2024 NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons had previously acquired the pick in a trade with the Cleveland Browns involving linebacker Deion Jones, which gave Atlanta additional draft capital to add defensive line depth.
He was waived by Atlanta on August 27, 2024, as part of final roster cuts and was quickly re-signed to the team’s practice squad. His time on the Atlanta practice squad allowed him to begin adjusting to the professional game and the speed of NFL offensive lines.
Buffalo Bills Era (2024–Present)
On October 1, 2024, Logue was signed by the Buffalo Bills off of the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad, opening his next professional opportunity. He was waived on November 7 and re-signed to the Buffalo practice squad, continuing his development within the organization.
On January 27, 2025, Logue signed a reserve/future contract with the Bills, securing his place on the roster heading into the new league year. On August 26, 2025, he was released as part of final roster cuts and re-signed to the practice squad the next day, keeping him within the Buffalo system.
