Andrea Rose Salinas (born December 6, 1969) is an American politician who has served as the United States Representative for Oregon’s 6th congressional district since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, she represents a district that includes Yamhill and Polk counties, parts of Marion County, and suburban communities southwest of Portland. Before her election to Congress, she served in the Oregon House of Representatives for the 38th district from 2017 to 2023.
Salinas built her career as a legislative aide, lobbyist, and political consultant before winning elected office. She is one of the first two Hispanic women, alongside Lori Chavez-DeRemer, elected to the United States Congress from Oregon.
