Bowen Yang, Scarlett Johansson, and Jon Hamm reunite for Ritz’s 2026 Super Bowl commercial revealed on February 3. The three well-known actors appear together in a 30-second TV spot promoting the snack brand during the high-profile event airing on NBC Sunday, February 8.
The commercial opens with Hamm and Yang tucked inside a tree house, observing a lively party on the beach. Hamm’s character voices frustration at being excluded, saying, “Another day, another Ritz party,” before asking, “Why didn’t they invite us?”
Playful Banter Highlights Star Chemistry
Yang’s character responds with a sarcastic remark,
“Well, we’re salty and we hate parties and mingling and yapping,”
setting a humorous tone. Hamm then focuses on the irresistible appeal of the snack, noting,
“They do have all the Ritz crackers though. That salty, buttery flavor.”
This prompts him to suggest they join the party, saying, “Let’s go for five minutes.”
Yang sets a boundary, stating,
“I’ll only go if my feet don’t have to touch the sand at all,”
causing Hamm to gasp in surprise. At that moment, Johansson arrives dramatically on a jet ski, removing her sunglasses and calling up,
“Hey, salties, what’s the holdup? It’s party time!”
Hamm points to where Yang was standing but realizes she has already left. Yang replies eagerly, “Not me! Let’s go, Scarlett,” as she climbs onto the jet ski behind Johansson. The trio rides the jet ski through the party, with Yang shouting, “Ritz party!”
Johansson and Hamm humorously tell him to quiet down, saying,

“So loud, so loud, take it down a notch.”
Close Professional Ties Among Cast Enhance Collaboration
Johansson and Hamm each hosted episodes of Saturday Night Live in spring 2025, joining Yang, who was a cast member for seven seasons until the end of 2025. Yang reflected on the ease of working with them again for this campaign.
“It was remarkably lovely and easy with people that I already worked with,”
Yang told PEOPLE of his first experience filming a Super Bowl commercial.
“I looked around, I was flanked by two of the hardest working people in show business.”
He expressed feeling fortunate to collaborate with
“my old friends ScarJo and Jojo”
and noted,
“I was like, ‘But wait, I already intimately worked with these people before.’ It’s crazy.”
The Significance of Yang’s Super Bowl Commercial Debut
Although Yang has appeared in many commercials and parody ads on SNL, this marks his official debut in a Super Bowl spot, an opportunity he regards as especially meaningful.
“People pay attention to those in a way that I think I took for granted over the course of being in the biz,”
he explained.
“Every year, you hear of friends and acquaintances who do this spot and I feel very thrilled to be among these people.”
