Andrew Mark Heaney (born June 5, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He has pitched in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Miami Marlins, Los Angeles Angels, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, Texas Rangers, and Pittsburgh Pirates. A former first-round draft pick, Heaney has been a starting pitcher for most of his career and is a World Series champion.
Heaney made his MLB debut in 2014 and went on to spend parts of more than a decade in the major leagues. Heaney is widely recognized for his time with the Los Angeles Angels, where he developed into a front-of-the-rotation arm, and for helping the Texas Rangers win the 2023 World Series. Andrew Mark Heaney was born on June 5, 1991, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He grew up in the Oklahoma City area and attended Putnam City High School in Warr Acres, Oklahoma, where he played for the school’s baseball team.
