Keanu Reeves’ Dogstar Reveals New Album and Massive Tour

Keanu Reeves’ alternative rock band Dogstar has announced the upcoming release of their new album, All In Now, set for May 29, alongside a broad tour across North America and Europe. The band released the album’s lead single simultaneously with the announcement.

Details on the Album and Tour Schedule

The new album, All In Now, continues the band’s recent momentum following their 2023 album, Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees. This marks their first full-length release since the 2000 album, Happy Ending. Dogstar plans to support the album with a 25-stop North American tour starting May 28 in Highland, California, and ending September 3 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally, the band will perform 25 dates in Europe during June and July, expanding their reach internationally.

The Band’s Background and Reunion Story

Formed in 1994, Dogstar features Keanu Reeves on bass, Bret Domrose on guitar and vocals, and Robert Mailhouse on drums. The band gained attention in the late 1990s and early 2000s partly due to Reeves’ rising acting career, with their initial active period concluding after their last performance in October 2002. The members resumed jamming together during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and officially announced their reunion in 2022 with a nostalgic social media post.

Keanu Reeves Expresses Enthusiasm for the Comeback

Commenting on the band’s new release and tour, Reeves shared his excitement and determination:

“Personally, I loved it all. For me, the attitude was like, ‘let’s work hard and let’s GO.’”

Reeves had also earlier stated, “We couldn’t f****** wait,” reflecting the band’s eagerness to return.

Looking Ahead for Dogstar’s Return

With the release of All In Now and extensive touring planned, Dogstar aims to reconnect with longtime fans and reach new audiences across two continents. Their comeback carries significance as the band balances a fresh chapter in their music career while acknowledging their roots and past hiatus. Fans can anticipate an energized live experience throughout 50 stops, signaling a strong commitment to their renewed musical journey.
